  • In the world of collectable vinyl toys, there are few institutions with as much rep as Tokyo's Secret Base.

Now located in a really well hidden 2nd floor hole in the wall on the back streets of Harajuku, Secret Base is the place for all things creepy and dark, but in the best way possible. They have a long history of teaming up with hardcore rock bands, remarkable tattoo artists (most notably 3 Tides), loads of talented artists (i.e. Ron English), and even some brands that make no sense until you see the twisted Secret Base spin on things like Hello Kitty and Ghost Busters.

The craze of vinyl toys may have subsided, but shops and brands like Secret Base keep the culture alive and well.
